Scott Kew
Scott began working at Kewcorp Financial Inc. as a part time assistant in 1999. This afforded him the opportunity to learn about the financial industry from a very young age. As time went by Scott increasingly worked additional hours and completed the Work Experience Program through Bev Facey Community High. Following High School his interest continued to grow and he expanded his roll to a full time assistant at Kewcorp Financial Inc.
In 2004 Scott decided to pursue further knowledge in the financial service industry. He enrolled in the Business Diploma course at NAIT. In 2006 Scott graduated the Business Finance Diploma with Honors. Scott took the opportunity to further his business education by returning to NAIT for a Business Marketing Diploma. In 2006, Scott graduated the Business Marketing Diploma with Honors. Scott completed his education by graduating from the Bachelor of Applied Business Finance (BaBf) at NAIT in August of 2008. Through the Bachelor program at NAIT, Scott took the great opportunity to complete the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Canadian Securities Course (CSC). He successfully passed the CFP exam in November of 2009. In addition to the CFP designation, Scott is Life and Accident and Sickness Insurance Licensed. As well, he is Exempt Securities Licensed. In January of 2008, Scott fulfilled the practicum requirement of the Bachelor of Applied Business Finance program with his full time commencement with Kewcorp Financial Inc.
Throughout all of his education and work experience, Scott has continued to be active in his community. Scott is a Fourth Degree Black Belt Taekwon-Do Instructor who teaches martial arts to participants of all ages. When Scott is not working, he can be found volunteering for various events associated within his community, the financial services industry and his martial arts activities.
